At least he gets interviews with Industry figures. Like that guy from Bethesda on Fallout 3. Or when he got an interview with Aaron Greenburg from MS.
Mart, be serious. How many fights have you started going to ps3 threads with trash talk
Even now you're starting a fight with you edit to ape007. I'll quote
"EDIT
@ Ape below
Nope dude. Never had digital fights with other websites and taking that to N4G.
Thus not nuf said. Stop supporting mindless nonsense spam. Is HipHopGangster your little g@y hiphopbuddy to put his hiphopmagicstick up your butt, because you support him s...
Then ban planetxbox too since they're the ones that started this BS in the first place with that stupid article
No matter how much many of you dislike HHG, he has gotten REAL face to face interviews with industry figures. You can take shots at his grammar all you want, but at least he has SOME sources. I mean come on, do you people think he got that interview with Aaron Greenburg just by wishing for it?
So yeah, he just MIGHT be a free site than any average joe can maintain. BUT he is an average joe with SOME SORT of connections
I say that because I remember reading that both SF 4 and Resident Evil 5 would be getting HOME spaces
"HHG goes away and never returns to games journalism, returning to the staff's previous employment: janitors or trash-men."
Look,if you hate his site, FINE. There is no need to sit here and try to offend people like that.
If you want to call him out. Then call out all the other non-professional websites too. I don't see anyone calling out Hardcore Christian Gamer yet.
If you want to worry about the ruining of Games Journalism, take a look at those two links.
To me, HHG is being called out for either one of two reasons:
1-He is a ps3 fan and this is an xbox site trying to call him out
or
2-He probably gets more visitors than them and they are making this flamebait to get hits
If you want to call him out, Then you have to call out all the other ones as well. For example, Hardcore Christian Gamer should be called out too.
Places like Gamespot and Kotaku ruin games journalism. If you want to point fingers, pointing to either of the two I just mentioned would be a good start
My advice, it doesn't work too well lol
That comment was both true and hardcore.
But you can expect to get attacked for it unfortunately
"Then what was the point you were making? He clearly said it was just something he found. "
The POINT I'm making is that this is yet another high profile game that is going to get the microscope treatment to the point that random people with their blogs start to point out even the smallest inconsistency. It doesn't matter whether he "just found" something or not. I'm pretty sure this person has "just found" things in other games too. But more than li...
Yeah I read it, and "bashing" wasn't the point I was making
I KNEW this would happen. Ps3 exclusive, High Ranked game. That means let the nitpicking begin.
I guess I should cancel my pre order then huh? The the most humorous part about this is most of this comes from random blogs nobody has ever heard of. Then we'll only see these sites once or twice, then they just fade away.
He did say he feared the HD version of Indiana Jones would get canned. Three weeks later, look what happened
Trophies have more merit than achievements because first of all, Trophies SHOW of skill. Bronze are easy trophies, Silver are moderate ones. Gold is for harder trophies, and Platinum is for the elite.
When you look at someone's gamer card, you can determine (for the most part) how skilled a player he/she is by the trophies AND Level.
The gamerscore from MS is just points. The trophy system is kinda like bragging rights. It ups the playing scope.
This aut...
But it's too bad the result of that brought about Spider-man :Brand New Day
They took so much heat from the media and so called "gamers". At one point people were trying to label KZ2 as Vaporware. Not to mention how many times have we heard fans and media alike say "you think you have a halo killer" And the worst part is, the MEDIA are the ones that keep saying Halo killer, not GG or Sony. They bust their chops to make an AMAZING game.
All these good reviews and praise they get now is WELL DESERVED.
My friend, your comment is EXACTLY what HOME was meant for.
It's a place to find new friends to game with. That is the real goal of HOME. Too many people treat it as if it's a game. Treat it as what it is, a social platform
And for those that say HOME is only about making money because they charge you for items, that is incorrect. If HOME was only there for money, then buying items on HOME would have been MANDATORY. Instead, it's a choice
